Holly Peng - Partner

Holly is a seasoned Legal Bookkeeping expert who has worked in and with the Law Industry for close to 30 years. From humble beginnings of organizing files and moving boxes afterschool and on weekends as a young teen for her Mother's Law Office, to working as a paralegal for her and later as the entire firm's Bookkeeper - Holly has done it all!
Holly has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, so taking Business Administration at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) was a natural choice for her Post-Secondary Education. Graduating with a major in Marketing and a minor in Accounting, Holly finished her Diploma with Honours Distinction and fire in her heart to succeed in business. After gaining her Certified QuickBooks Advisor designation, she founded her own bookkeeping firm, specialized in working with small to mid-sized businesses as they grow.
The creation of Trust Us Legal Bookkeeping & Accounting is a direct result of the perfect combination of Holly's education, work experience and family support. In 2017, her Mother was appointed a Provincial Judge and so after 33 years of litigation, she closed her Law Firm. This pushed Holly to see the opportunity and a need in this niche market, and as such she decided to focus almost solely on Legal Bookkeeping and Accounting.
Since then her knowledge and experience in this industry has expanded immensely earning her the loyalty of legal clients through her dedication to precision, compliance, and personalized support for law firms. If asked, she would likely credit her success to her mentor, hero and best friend: her Mother. "Judge Mom" is and always will be her biggest inspiration and the spark of her passion and professionalism in this industry.
Michelle Cooper - Partner

As a skilled accountant and business leader, Michelle Cooper brings a wealth of expertise to Trust Us Legal Bookkeeping & Accounting, a premier firm dedicated to supporting law firms in British Columbia and Alberta. With over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, Michelle is known for her strategic approach, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering exceptional service tailored to business owners.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and achieved a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. After working in key financial roles, she founded her own firm to address the unique needs of her clients and now is a partner in Trust Us Bookkeeping & Accounting. Michelle and her team offer specialized services such as Trust account management, Law Society compliance support, Tax preparation, and Financial planning. Their client-centered approach ensures law firms have the financial clarity and compliance oversight needed to grow confidently.
What sets Michelle apart is her dedication to building lasting partnerships. She simplifies complex financial processes, empowering her clients to focus on their legal practice with peace of mind.
